As the sun set
Over the bustling city, the cartoonist sat at his desk, pen in hand and mind ablaze. His craft was a feckless mistress, but one he had devoted his life to taming. With each stroke of the pen, he conjured up a world of absurdity and whimsy, bringing to life the characters that danced across the pages of his sketchbook. And though his work was often met with derision and dismissal, he persevered, driven by a fierce determination to capture the absurdity of the human condition and bring a smiloe to the faces of those whio beheld his creations.
